About us

The main objective of Farmabiloba parapharmacies is to improve your state of health and reinforce it, through the use of food supplements and natural products.
Our story begins in the childhood of a little girl, Judith Sandor Fraga, who during her summer vacations traveled with her family from South America to a small Galician town on the coast of the lower estuaries. Her aunts were the owners of the town pharmacy and it was there where she spent her days, helping, learning and feeling the love and dedication that they put into what they did. He loved the close contact with clients and the satisfaction of knowing that you contributed to the well-being of those people. As the years passed, Judith decided to start studying pharmacy until she realized that she really didn't like the world of chemistry. I ended up studying Business Administration and although my degree went very well, I always had that dream left to fulfill. Years later, due to the prevailing situation in his country of origin, he decided to emigrate to Tenerife, where new doors opened for him and it is here that the opportunity arose to start this company, from which, thanks to natural medicine, we have continued forward with the work of improving the quality of life of our clients. During the last 10 years we have fostered the passion and excellence of what we do to our employees, in order to continue providing the best service and attention that our Farmabilovers deserve.

Why are we called Farmabiloba?

Do you know where our name comes from? FARMABILOBA, from GINKO BILOBA, also called “TREE OF LIFE” “TREE OF WISHES” “TREE OF THE 40 SHIELDS” and “TREE OF PEACE”. We have a brief history! In case you want to read it and understand why we gave our parapharmacies this name. The GINKO BILOBA, its origins date back to 2500 years in the Tertiary era, is native to Japan and eastern China; It is called “THE TREE OF LIFE”, since it is an authentic living fossil. He managed to survive the atomic bomb of Hiroshima, when 8 months after the nuclear explosion, 1 sapling was found, being the first plant species that came back to life, and from that moment on he became a great Bringer of Hope. This amazing capacity for resistance and its great longevity have made it irreplaceable in traditional Japanese and Chinese medicine, which has been using it for 2,000 years. The story also tells that under its thick branches and against its thick trunk the great BUDDHA rested from his long journey, and there he performed meditation where he found enlightenment. Darwin, the owner of the “Theory of Evolution” baptized it with the name “living fossil”, considering it the oldest plant species on the planet. Also called “THE WISHING TREE” when John Lennon's wife, Yoko Ono, planted a GINKO in Detroit (USA), suggesting that they should ask for wishes because through them, a better future can be created. And it was called “THE TREE OF PEACE” when a group of children in the 50s planted a GINKO in front of the UN, as a symbol of hope for world peace, so that the governments of the world could unite with this common goal. , "PEACE".
